No one ever said I never learn my lessons. After last month’s successful but very long day in Burbank, I decided to fly in the previous night and wake up refreshed for my full day of meetings. Arriving into Bob Hope Burbank Airport, it was a longer walk to the rental car facility than it is the entire length of the airport concourse.
While in Westlake Village, I did notice the acrid smell of smoke from the massive California fires. The late afternoon skies were filled with smoke, and there was an eery orange haze. Very sad to see all the fires, and I send my best wishes to all the brave firefighters fighting these fires.
It was a great day of meetings, and I most certainly did learn my lesson from my one-day Burbank adventure last month. This time, I feel much more refreshed.
